Il programma Erasmus+sport intende sostenere le azioni che aumentino la capacità e la professionalità, migliorano le competenze di gestione, e la qualità dei progetti UE, così come la creazione di collegamenti tra le organizzazioni del settore dello sport.
In particolare, tali attività devono mirare a:
– affrontare le minacce transfrontaliere per l’integrità dello sport;
– promuovere e sostenere la buona governance nello sport e le carriere parallele degli atleti;
– promuovere attività di volontariato, l’inclusione sociale e le pari opportunità nello sport
– aumentare la consapevolezza dei benefici dell’attività fisica per la salute
– aumentare la partecipazione nello sport.
Il programma finanzia partenariati di collaborazione ed eventi sportivi senza scopo di lucro, oltre a sostenere le azioni che mirano a rafforzare i dati per la definizione delle politiche e promuovere il dialogo con i soggetti interessati.
Le azioni nel settore dello sport sono incentrate principalmente sugli sport di base.
A livello sistemico le azioni in questo settore dovrebbero contribuire allo sviluppo della dimensione europea nello sport; in un’ottica individuale i progetti sostenuti da Erasmus+ devono condurre alla crescita dei livelli di partecipazione allo sport e alle attività fisiche.
Per tutte le azioni del settore sport la candidatura è gestita direttamente dall’Agenzia esecutiva per l’istruzione, gli audiovisivi e la cultura – EACEA.
Chi può partecipare
I partenariati di collaborazione sono aperti a ogni tipo di istituzione pubblica o organizzazione non a scopo di lucro attiva nel settore dello sport e dell’attività fisica.
A seconda dell’obiettivo del progetto, i partenariati di collaborazione dovrebbero coinvolgere una gamma adeguata e diversificata di partner al fine di trarre vantaggio dalle loro diverse esperienze, profili e competenze specifiche così da produrre risultati del progetto congrui e di alta qualità
In Italia l’organismo di contatto per tutte le informazioni su Erasmsus+ Sport è l’Ufficio per lo sport, presso la Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri.
