MIUR: attivati 400 nuovi tirocini per gli studenti universitari
Il Ministro degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale Paolo Gentiloni, il Ministro dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca Stefania Giannini e il Presidente della Fondazione CRUI (Conferenza dei rettori delle università italiane) Angelo Riccaboni hanno firmato questo pomeriggio, alla Farnesina, l’accordo per un Programma di tirocini curriculari presso le Rappresentanze diplomatiche italiane. L’iniziativa è realizzata a favore di laureandi che aspirano alla carriera diplomatica o a carriere internazionali e si colloca nell’ambito della campagna di promozione della candidatura italiana al Consiglio di Sicurezza. Grazie al Programma di tirocini fino a 400 studenti universitari potranno fare esperienza presso le sedi diplomatiche dell’Italia all’estero, dall’1 ottobre al 31 dicembre 2015. I tirocinanti riceveranno borse di durata trimestrale di un importo minimo pari a 400 euro mensili.
“La Convenzione rilancia il programma di tirocini per studenti universitari presso le nostre Sedi diplomatiche all’estero”, ha dichiarato il Ministro Paolo Gentiloni. “I laureandi avranno modo di effettuare un’esperienza formativa attraverso la partecipazione diretta alle attività delle nostre Rappresentanze diplomatiche per la promozione della candidatura italiana al Consiglio di Sicurezza. La collaborazione con il MIUR permetterà il cofinanziamento del programma, la cui realizzazione sarà assicurata dal prezioso contributo dellaFondazione CRUI nel processo di selezione dei candidati più meritevoli. L’iniziativa è stata fortemente sostenuta dal Governo – che ha stanziato un fondo dedicato – per aprire ai giovani nuove ed attraenti opportunità formative”.
“Questi tirocini rappresentano una straordinaria occasione di conoscenza e apertura verso il mondo per i nostri studenti universitari”, ha sottolineato il Ministro Stefania Giannini. “Il Programma scaturisce da una solida collaborazione fra istituzioni tesa a valorizzare le nostre giovani eccellenze: la selezione terrà conto del curriculum universitario dei candidati, i più motivati avranno accesso ai tirocini. Siamo molto soddisfatti del risultato raggiunto che consentirà a centinaia di ragazzi di arricchire il loro curriculum con un’esperienza di alto valore formativo”.
“Ringrazio il MAECI e il MIUR per la sensibilità mostrata nel riproporre un programma di grande valenza culturale e formativa”, ha concluso il Presidente della Fondazione CRUI, Angelo Riccaboni. “Dai tirocini, infatti, i nostri studenti riceveranno ulteriori stimoli all’apertura internazionale e formidabili occasioni di confronto”.
