Orientamedia
La Fondazione Italia Orienta ha l’obiettivo di diffondere la cultura dell’orientamento come processo finalizzato ad educare i giovani nel compiere delle scelte, scelte nello studio, nel lavoro e in qualsiasi altro ambito di vita.
Il contributo che vuole offrire la Fondazione a studenti, famiglie e sistema scolastico è dunque teso a favorire nel Paese un percorso di strutturazione forte nei nostri giovani, contrastando in primis i fenomeni della dispersione scolastica ed accademica ma più in generale anche il disagio giovanile dovuto alla mancanza di consapevolezza nella maturazione delle scelte.
Il disorientamento dei giovani che si trovano ad affrontare la scelta formativo-professionale post diploma, a volte, si rintraccia proprio nella scelta della scuola secondaria di II grado. Quest’ultima, spesso, si svolge senza una effettiva riflessione sulle proprie attitudini, inclinazioni e una attenta valutazione dell’offerta didattica delle diverse tipologie di licei ed istituti tecnici o professionali.
Al fine di supportare i genitori e gli studenti nella delicata fase di transizione dalla scuola secondaria di I° grado, alla scuola secondaria di II° grado o alla formazione professionale, gli esperti di Italia Orienta hanno realizzato un percorso modulabile dal titolo “Orientamedia”.
Orientamedia prevede una strutturazione su più livelli:
un modulo in plenaria strutturato sia per studenti che per genitori e/o docenti (in sessioni separate) di carattere informativo, finalizzato ad offrire ai partecipanti una visione corretta e oggettiva di cosa vuol dire scegliere in questa fase. Quali fattori interni ed esterni incidono sulla scelta, il ruolo e i compiti di ciascun attore (genitore, figlio, docente), le fonti oggettive e soggettive, i luoghi comuni e le false convinzioni che “limitano” la lucidità nel compiere le scelte, le corrette informazioni rispetto alle differenze tra licei, tecnici, professionali e formazione professionale.
laboratorio di formazione orientativa per gli studenti (modulabili in 1, 2, 3 o più incontri), finalizzato ad analizzare e sperimentare attivamente quanto affrontato nella sessione plenaria: sperimentare in prima persona gli argomenti atti a compiere una scelta autonoma e consapevole (interessi, valori, limiti e potenzialità, ricerca attiva info, problem solving).
Italia Orienta progetta anche percorsi ad hoc che rispondano a bisogni specifici della scuola (coniugare alcune attività di Orientamedia con progetti già in atto nella scuola, modulare Orientamedia sulla disponibilità finanziaria, rispondere congiuntamente a bisogni orientativi dei ragazzi e altri bisogni individuati dalla scuola).
