L’orientamento in entrata ed uscita degli studenti è, oggi, uno degli elementi essenziali dell’offerta formativa del sistema scolastico nazionale.
Le difficoltà di collegamento tra scuola e società, tra scuola e mondo del lavoro, tra scuola ed università rappresentano, oggi, specie nel meridione, uno degli elementi ostativi da rimuovere per favorire una crescita consapevole ed organica del mondo giovanile nel suo complesso.
Ed è in quest’ottica che ho accolto in maniera entusiastica questa iniziativa; perchè ritengo estremamente importante per gli studenti ogni occasione di incontro, d’interazione con il mondo del lavoro, delle professioni ed accademico.
In questo percorso la scuola deve e può rappresentare, attraverso le sue molteplici e diverse risorse di conoscenze e competenze presenti al suo interno, la passerella ideale ed il catalizzatore dei processi formativi dei giovani proiettandoli, attraverso un armonico sviluppo del senso critico, verso nuovi ed ambiziosi orizzonti.
La scuola si presenta:
Il Liceo Scientifico “Francesco Severi “ di Salerno, istituito negli anni 60’, sorse per rispondere in maniera adeguata alle crescenti esigenze culturali della zona orientale di Salerno, in fervente rapido sviluppo negli anni 90’. La sede definitiva è stata consegnata nel 1994.
Oggi l’istituto è diventato un importante centro di riferimento culturale per i cittadini del comprensorio della città che volge ad oriente e conta circa 1400 studenti con ben 51 classi tra Liceo Scientifico Ordinario e Liceo Scientifico Sez. Scienze Applicate.
La logistica è uno degli elementi caratterizzanti per l’istituto, infatti, l’edificio è spazioso, accogliente ed aggiornato ai nuovi canoni di sicurezza.
L’istituto è facilmente raggiungibile perché ottimamente collegato con due uscite della tangenziale di Salerno e la stazione Torrione-Via Pietro del Pezzo della costruenda stazione della Metropolitana leggera di Salerno sia con l’auto che con il servizio pubblico.
