Educational Tour 2014, concluso
OCCUPABILITA’ DEI GIOVANI, IL TOUR DI ITALIA ORIENTA
Per contrastare inattività lavorativa, dispersione scolastica, abbandono universitario, parte la seconda edizione del primo educational tour del Paese.
Tasso di disoccupazione record per i giovani tra i 15 ed i 24 anni: a gennaio si è raggiunta la cifra record del 42,4%. I giovani in cerca di un lavoro sono 690mila. L’Istat, che ha diffuso i dati solo pochi giorni fa, sottolinea che quasi la metà dei disoccupati risiede nel Mezzogiorno (un milione 450 mila). Contro queste cifre, ItaliaOrienta lancia il suo progetto Paese: la seconda edizione del primo educational tour che ha preso il via da Roma.
Da Roma poi, il camper con a bordo gli esperti della Fondazione, ha attraversato l’Italia visitando 58 città e incontrando 40mila studenti prossimi alla scelta del loro futuro dopo il diploma.
La Fondazione, durante la prima edizione del tour ha messo a punto una serie di strumenti e processi innovativi che ha portato nelle classi italiane. Si tratta di strumenti finalizzati a raggiungere gli obiettivi fissati dallo “Youth guarantee” e pienamente in linea con le finalità di “Horizon 2020”.
Alla vigilia di una scelta importante, la mente può essere tempestata da dubbi, paure e false credenze. Tutti questi fattori generano confusione e possono produrre scelte sbagliate e inadeguate. ItaliaOrienta ha incontrato i ragazzi nelle loro scuole per dotarli di autonomia e consapevolezza, in modo da proteggerli da scelte affrettare e inadeguate, preludio di inattività lavorativa.
“La disoccupazione giovanile si deve prevenire. Stiamo lavorando con i nostri ricercatori per strutturare percorsi innovativi così da rendere i nostri ragazzi responsabili, meglio motivati e autonomi. È questa la base da cui partire per migliorare l’occupabilità dei giovani e combattere la disoccupazione” – lo dichiara il presidente della Fondazione Mariano Berriola.
Le tappe dell’Educational tour 2014
La seconda edizione dell’Educational Tour è partita lo scorso Marzo dalla Capitale ed ha attraversato l’intero stivale, toccando molte province italiane, incontrando ed ascoltando migliaia di studenti, docenti e Dirigenti.
Roma è stata la prima delle 60 città coinvolte quest’anno, il minibus della fondazione ha attraversato la Regione Lazio dirigendosi successivamente nella Regione Molise (Isernia). Nelle ultime settimane del mese di Marzo alcune città della Puglia sono state le protagoniste delle attività di orientamento (Foggia, Bari, Brindisi, Taranto).
Ad Aprile le regioni toccate sono state l’Emilia Romagna (Rimini, Forli-Cesena, Bologna e Modena); il Veneto (Padova e Vicenza) e la Liguria (La Spezia, Genova ed Imperia).
Ultime due città protagoniste dell’Educational Tour prima della pausa estiva sono state Napoli e Salerno.
A Settembre la Fondazione ha tenuto le attività nella Regione Sardegna (Cagliari, Olbia e Sassari) il minibus ha poi proseguito il suo cammino verso la Regione Piemonte (Alessandria, Torino e Novara).
Nel mese di Ottobre si è tenuta l’ultima tappa della Regione Veneto (Verona) già attraversata in parte prima della pausa estiva con le città di Vicenza e Padova. Poi sono stati coinvolti nelle nostre attività di orientamento gli studenti della Regione Toscana (Grosseto, Lucca, Firenze e Siena). Hanno seguito la Regione Trentino- Alto Adige (Trento), la Regione Campania (Caserta, Benevento, Avellino) e la Regione Basilicata (Potenza).
Nel mese di Novembre le attività di orientamento Italia Orienta si sono svolte in Emilia Romagna (Reggio Emilia, Parma e Piacenza); ha fatto seguito la Regione Lombardia con grandissimo interesse ed affluenza nella città di Milano e Bergamo. La seconda metà del mese ha visto protagonisti dell’Educational Tour le regioni centrali Umbria (Terni e Perugia) Marche (Macerata) e Abruzzo (Teramo).
In Dicembre, ultimo mese del Tour 2014, le attività di orientamento sono state destinate agli studenti delle regioni Sicilia (Agrigento, Catania, Messina) Calabria (Reggio Calabria e Cosenza) e Puglia (Lecce e Barletta).
