Premio da 50.000 euro per i ricercatori italiani
Quest’anno sono 8 i premi promossi dalla Società Italiana di Neurologia (SIN)in favore dei giovani neurologi italiani, per un valore complessivo di 50.000 euro.
“In Italia la produzione scientifica dei neurologi è di altissimo livello – ha ricordato il Prof. Aldo Quattrone, Presidente SIN – e si posiziona ai primi postinel mondo per numero di pubblicazioni sulle principali riviste scientifiche di rilievo internazionale. Attraverso l’istituzione degli Award, la SIN conferma il suo impegno nel sostenere la ricerca e nel promuovere la formazione di ricercatori altamente qualificati che contribuiscano al progresso scientifico nell’ambito delle patologie neurologiche, ancora molto diffuse”.
7 Award SIN sono destinati a premiare i migliori contributi scientifici di interesse neurologico pubblicati su riviste internazionali peer rewied, tra il 1 gennaio 2014 e il 31 luglio 2015, da giovani specialisti neurologi italiani, con età al di sotto dei 40 anni, che compaiano come primo autore o corresponding author e che siano regolarmente iscritti alla Società Italiana di Neurologia.
Novità dell’edizione 2015 l’introduzione dell’Impact Factor quale sistema di valutazione delle divulgazioni scientifiche. L’Impact Factor misura il valore di una rivista sulla base del numero di citazioni che gli articoli pubblicati hanno ricevuto in un dato periodo.
In particolare la SIN promuove:
- 3 premi da 5.000 euro ciascuno per articoli pubblicati su riviste con Impact Factor da 4 a 10
- 3 premi da 5.000 euro ciascuno per articoli pubblicati su riviste con Impact Factor da 10,01 a 20
- 1 premio da 10.000 euro per articoli pubblicati su riviste con Impact Factor superiore a 20,01
Infine, ulteriore novità di quest’anno, il premio di 10.000 euro dedicatoall’innovazione tecnologica e rivolto a giovani neurologi italiani che abbiano depositato a proprio nome domanda di brevetto internazionale secondo la convenzione PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) o ottenuto la concessione del brevetto anche in altri stati europei o extraeuropei nel periodo compreso tra il1° gennaio 2014 e il 31 luglio 2015.
Ciascun partecipante potrà concorrere con un solo lavoro che dovrà essere inviato entro il 1° settembre 2015 all’indirizzo email info@neuro.it.
