Al via il progetto PhD ITalents: 2 anni di collaborazione in azienda per 136 dottori di ricerca
I dottori di ricerca entrano in azienda per portare leve altamente qualificate nel mondo del lavoro e intensificare le relazioni fra imprese e università. Ha avuto il via libera del Cipe (Comitato interministeriale per la programmazione economica), infatti, il finanziamento del Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca destinato al progetto PhD ITalents che prevede la selezione di 136 giovani dottori di ricerca da inserire, per un periodo non inferiore ai due anni, in imprese fortemente orientate all’innovazione e alla ricerca.
L’iniziativa, che sviluppa un nuovo modello di placement dei dottori di ricerca, è realizzata in stretta collaborazione con la Fondazione della Conferenza dei Rettori delle Università italiane (Crui) e con Confindustria. Il finanziamento totale è di 16.236.000 euro, di cui 11 milioni stanziati dal Miur attraverso il Fondo integrativo speciale per la ricerca e il resto da privati.
“Coinvolgere le aziende in questi progetti significa cominciare a gettare le basi per un futuro diverso del nostro paese in cui il dottorato di ricerca non resta più confinato solo in ambito universitario, ma diventa un titolo strategico per assunzioni di alto livello in imprese che vogliono fare innovazione puntando sui nostri giovani ‘cervelli’ – spiega il Ministro dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca, Stefania Giannini -. Vogliamo trattenere i migliori talenti, dandogli la possibilità di completare la loro formazione d’eccellenza in imprese all’avanguardia”.
A seguito della delibera del Cipe di oggi sarà stipulato uno specifico Accordo di Programma tra il Miur e i soggetti che hanno proposto il progetto. Saranno coinvolte le più significative esperienze imprenditoriali italiane dei settori di rilevanza strategica individuati dal Piano nazionale per la Ricerca: Energia, Agroalimentare, Patrimonio Culturale, Mobilità Sostenibile, Salute e Scienza della Vita.
Il coordinamento, il monitoraggio e la valutazione dell’intero processo saranno garantiti dalla Fondazione Crui e da una Cabina di regia dedicata (Miur– Crui–Confindustria), con l’obiettivo di valutare una possibile estensione del progetto a un numero più ampio di beneficiari.
