Voglia di mettersi in gioco, essere protagonisti attivi nella lotta alle mafie, formarsi e crescere nei principi della legalità per portali in tutta Italia e nel mondo: questo lo spirito che anima l’iniziativa E!State Liberi 2015 lanciata dall’associazione Libera contro le mafie.
L’opportunità offerta a tutti è quella di impegnarsi in un periodo di volontariato per riqualificare i campi confiscati alle associazioni mafiose. Non solo: ai volontari, Libera garantisce anche un periodo di formazione e di approfondimento in vista di scambi culturali internazionali.
L’obiettivo principale dei campi di volontariato sui beni confiscati alle mafie è quello di diffondere una cultura fondata sulla legalità e giustizia sociale che possa efficacemente contrapporsi alla cultura della violenza, del privilegio e del ricatto. Si dimostra così, che è possibile ricostruire una realtà sociale ed economica fondata sulla pratica della cittadinanza attiva e della solidarietà.
Lavoro agricolo o attività di risistemazione del bene, formazione e incontro con il territorio per uno scambio interculturale: i percorsi di Libera sono aperti a singoli, gruppi, professionisti e persino aziende. Tutti i campi sono completamente gratuiti.
E!state Liberi è la rappresentazione più efficace della memoria che diventa impegno, è il segno tangibile del cambiamento necessario che si deve contrapporre alla “mafiosità materiale e culturale” dilagante nei nostri territori.
