ottimisti e convinti dei propri mezzi, i maschi piu’ delle
femmine, al Sud piu’ che al Nord, incluso gli studenti degli
istituti tecnici, non inferiori ai coetanei dei licei. A
certificarlo e’ il III Rapporto nazionale della Fondazione Italia
Orienta dal titolo ‘ Giovani e Carriere – Le caratteristiche
personali importanti nelle scelte educative e professionali’.
Il rapporto – realizzato dai ricercatori della Fondazione
Italia Orienta, sotto la guida di Gianluca Ficca, direttore del
coordinamento didattico – e’ stato elaborato sulla base dei dati
raccolti durante l’ Educational Tour 2015-2016, che ha coinvolto
migliaia di studenti delle scuole superiori di tutta Italia.
Tappa dopo tappa, i ragazzi hanno risposto alle domande di una
batteria di questionari, usati allo scopo di analizzare una serie
di fattori individuali, come l’ ottimismo, l’ autoefficacia e
l’ assertivita’ (ovvero la capacita’ di esprimere chiaramente e
perseguire i propri bisogni), che saranno decisivi nelle prossime
scelte di carriera dei ragazzi.
Ecco, dunque, che gli studenti degli istituti tecnici
risultano altrettanto convinti dei propri mezzi e sicuri di se’
rispetto a chi sta frequentando il liceo, mentre meno
“autoefficaci” appaiono gli studenti degli indirizzi
professionali. Non senza una certa sorpresa, gli studenti
meridionali mostrano una migliore autoefficacia rispetto ai
colleghi del nord Italia, cosi’ come i maschi hanno piu’ fiducia
in se’ rispetto alle femmine.
Non mancano i motivi di riscossa per gli alunni dei licei:
quando si tratta di fronteggiare situazioni complesse, infatti,
si dimostrano piu’ duttili e piu’ in grado di gestire l’ ansia e
lo stress.

politiche attive richiamate oramai in ogni sede istituzionale e
