L’Istituto Tecnico Economico fornisce agli studenti i saperi e le competenze indispensabili per un inserimento diretto nel mondo del lavoro e per accedere a percorsi di livello terziario, universitari, degli Istituti Tecnici Superiori (its) e dell’Istruzione e Formazione Tecnica Superiore (ifts). Promuove inoltre i saperi e le competenze per l’accesso alle libere professioni intellettuali secondo le specifiche normative che regolano la materia.
Il Liceo Economico Sociale mette a disposizione dello studente gli strumenti culturali e metodologici per una comprensione approfondita della realtà, affinché si ponga, con atteggiamento razionale, creativo, progettuale e critico, di fronte alle situazioni, ai fenomeni e ai problemi, ed acquisisca conoscenze, abilità e competenze sia adeguate al proseguimento degli studi di ordine superiore, all’inserimento nella vita sociale e nel mondo del lavoro, sia coerenti con le capacità e le scelte personali.

Le attività di orientamento in uscita, dedicate agli studenti delle classi quarte e quinte si prefiggono gli obiettivi di:
- Trasmettere agli studenti informazioni sui percorsi formativi post-diploma e diffondere le iniziative di orientamento promosse dalle principali università in Veneto ed eventualmente fuori regione;
- Diffondere e sollecitare la partecipazione alle varie attività promosse dai servizi per l’orientamento delle università e degli istituti di formazione post-diploma e lavoro;
- Diffondere e sollecitare la partecipazione alle varie attività promosse dai servizi per l’orientamento al mondo del lavoro.
Concretamente gli studenti vengono coinvolti in iniziative quali la partecipazione a convegni e mostre sui temi dell’orientamento; visite guidate ai settori della produzione locale; incontri-dibattito con esponenti del mondo delle professioni; sportello orientamento; collaborazione coi servizi di orientamento delle università e degli Enti locali.
