Da sempre all’IIS Aldini Valeriani Sirani il processo di apprendimento degli allievi è stato progettato ed inteso come un continuo di esperienze e sperimentazioni reali ed innovative. I laboratori permanenti ne sono stati gli interpreti permettendo di osservare, catturare ed analizzare aspetti importanti della mutevole realtà lavorativa riuscendo ad inglobarla, attraverso un graduale processo di adattamento progettuale, in un curriculo che meglio rispondesse alle aspettative del mercato del lavoro.
I centri di eccellenza sono laboratori permanenti in cui si incontrano le esperienze della scuola e delle aziende che, attraverso la realizzazione di un prodotto industriale, favoriscono il nascere e l’affermarsi di nuovi modi di pensare ed agire. Con i centri di eccellenza si arricchisce il curriculo scolastico attraverso un progetto educativo formalizzato flessibile che tiene conto delle innovazioni industriali: il centro d’eccellenza è ciò che nasce da un incontro vero, aperto e fecondo tra scuola ed imprese.
La scuola si presenta:
All’interno dell’Istituto Aldini Valeriani Sirani sono presenti, in realtà, ben 6 istituti diversi.
Lo spazio scolastico è distribuito su di un’ampia superficie di circa di 40.000 metri quadrati, collocato su tre piani.
- PIANO TERRA: la maggior parte dell’area è dedicata ai laboratori e alle officine (meccanica, elettrotecnica, costruzioni edili, laboratori grafici ecc.), ma si trovano anche biblioteca, bar, ambulatorio medico, sala musica, teatro e ovviamente, l’ingresso. Sono presenti anche quattro palestre.
- PIANO PRIMO: dedicato principalmente ad aule didattiche per gli Istituti Professionali, ospita anche diversi uffici amministrativi, le segreterie, la Presidenza e due sale insegnanti.
- PIANO SECONDO: anche questo è dedicato ad aule didattiche, principalmente per l’Istituto Tecnico Aldini-Valeriani, ma anche ai laboratori linguistici, di fisica, scienze, informatica ed elettronica.
- PIANO TERZO: dedicato totalmente alla specializzazione di chimica, sia per quanto riguarda aule didattiche sia per laboratori e aule computer.
In moltissime aule ed in tutti i laboratori sono presenti personal computer, videoproiettori e lavagne interattive (LIM) come supporto alla didattica. La connessione ad internet è presente praticamente in tutto l’edificio, sia come rete cablata che come connessione wireless.
